Now this list changes for everyone, but these are our never miss rides when we visit Magic Kingdom.
10. PeopleMover

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is a 10-minute ride above and through the rides and attractions in Tomorrowland.
It has no height requirement. It is for all ages.
The ride does not have a Lightning Lane, but DAS is available for the ride.
The PeopleMover is number ten on our list for a variety of reasons. It is honestly one of the best ways to end the day at Magic Kingdom. Riding in the evening is really relaxing, and a great way to see the park at night. Enjoy the lights and possibly try to ride it during the fireworks show!
9. Dumbo the Flying Elephant

Dumbo the Flying Elephant is an attraction in Fantasyland in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Take a whimsical ride high into the sky and see an elephant fly!
There is no height requirement and it’s for all ages.
This ride does have Lightning Lane, but we don’t usually use it for this ride. The que isn’t too bad, and there is a fun playground inside for the kids.
DAS is available on this ride as well.
Dumbo the Flying Elephant is number 9 on our list, because it is a classic Disney ride, and you have to fly on it at least once on your visit!
8. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is a dark ride where you join Buzz Lightyear in the battle against Emperor Zurg. Join the space rangers and grab your blaster! Shoot the targets as you spin around space!
This ride has no height limit and is for all ages.
Lightning Lane is available on this ride. You can use DAS on this ride as well.
Buzz Lightyear is a really fun ride. We love battling each other as a family to see who can get the highest score. That is why this ride is number 8 on our list.
7. Haunted Mansion

Haunted Mansion is Disney World’s Haunted House inspired dark ride. Ride on a Doom Buggy through the Haunted Mansion!
This ride has no height requirement and is for all ages.
Lightning Lane is available for this ride. This is a good ride to try to use Lightning Lane, as sometimes it can get to over an hour wait.
DAS is available on this ride as well.
The Haunted Mansion is one of our favorite rides. It is probably one of our favorite dark rides. This is a never miss ride for us.
6. Peter Pan’s Flight

Peter Pan’s flight is a classic Disney adventure ride. Fly high in a pirate ship with Peter Pan with the Darling children from London to Neverland. End the ride with a battle against Captain Hook!
This ride does not have a height requirement, and it is for all ages.
Lightning Lane is highly recommended for this ride, as it always has a long wait time. DAS is also available for this ride.
Peter Pan’s Flight is a great dark ride. It’s higher on our list than Haunted Mansion only because it might not be as scary for the little ones.
5. Jungle Cruise

The World-Famous Jungle Cruise is a wild ride through many of the jungles of the world. Take a ride on a river boat with a very entertaining skipper. Just watch out for “the backside of water!”
This ride has no height requirement and is for all ages.
Lightning Lane is available for this ride and is a good option as there is usually a long wait. DAS is also available for this ride.
Getting to ride through the Jungle Cruise is always a great ride. Your skipper only makes the ride even better. They are usually always hilarious and witty with their jokes and puns. We love this ride.
4. Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of Caribbean is one of the best rides at any Disney Park. It’s an original ride when the park opened, and one of the best dark rides you can experience.
This ride has no height requirements and is for all ages.
Lightning Lane is available on this ride. DAS is also available on this ride.
Pirates of the Caribbean is one of our favorite rides. It is nostalgic for a classic Disney ride from the songs, animatronics and even the smells.
3. Tron Lightcycle Run

Tron Lightcycle/ Run is the newest rollercoaster at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, but it is also in our Top 3. This ride is fast and so smooth as you race on a rollercoaster after the movie Tron: Legacy.
This ride does have a 48″ height requirment.
Tron just came off the virtual que system, so Lightning Lane is available. It is a Single Pass Lightning Lane though, so that means you have to purchase an individual Lightning Lane for Tron.
DAS is available for this ride.
Tron is so fun! We love this ride, and how smooth it is. It is a quick rollercoaster, but it’s awesome! This is why it is our number 3 pick!
2. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is the new ride refurbishment in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Originally, it was Splash Mountain which was our favorite ride in the park. The refurbishment really hit it out of the park. The new ride has all the classic elements you loved of Splash Mountain, but with a current IP (intellectual property) that everyone can enjoys.
There is a 40″ height requirement for this ride.
Lightning Lane is available for this ride. Even though it is a brand-new ride, it is on the main Lightning Lane for the park. We would recommend using Lightning Lane for this as it does have a long wait.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure really is amazing. It’s so good, and the refurbishment was done well. We highly recommend this ride, but just a warning, you will get wet.
1. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is one of the best rollercoasters at Magic Kingdom. It is our number 1 ride at Magic Kingdom. Ride through the gem mines and watch the Seven Dwarfs mine for gems. Heigh Ho!
This ride has a 38″ height requirement. It is great even for younger kids if they can ride it.
This ride has the individual Lightning Lane like Tron does. It is generally one of the longest wait times in all of Magic Kingdom. If you want to guarantee to ride this, you will want to do the Lightning Lane.
DAS is available for this ride.
Our number 1 pick is one of the most fun rollercoasters at Magic Kingdom. It’s a classic ride and a classic story. It is also a lower height requirement so this could be one of the first “bigger” rides your little one can get on. We love this ride.

Honorable Mentions:
Big Thunder Mountain is one of our favorite rides at Magic Kingdom. This would definitely be on our list, but it is closed for refurbishments until 2026 with the new expansions coming to Magic Kingdom.
Space Mountain is also a classic coaster that a lot of people love. It is kind of rough, and we do not always ride it for that reason.
