Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is a Disney Vacation Club Resort that is made to resemble the famous New York Horse Racing Town of the same name. This quaint and relaxing resort features a full Spa and other great amenities.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort Orlando:

This is our Home Resort, so we are definitely partial to Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa! Home resort means, since we are DVC members, our membership is at this resort. Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa has studio rooms, multi-room villas and their specialty Treehouse Villas! There are 5 pools here with 2 feature pools and 3 leisure pools. It is the starting point for the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course and the resort features a full fitness center and spa.

Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is a Deluxe Villa Resort in the Disney Springs area.

*Please Note – Saratoga Springs is currently undergoing refurbishment until March 2023. The High Rock Pool area and bar, and Treehouse pool are currently closed.

The resort winds around the golf course and waterways. The nice thing about this resort is that parking is in front of all the buildings. So, if you drive a vehicle, you do not have to worry about parking in a large lot away from your room.

Can I Stay at Saratoga Springs Resort Even If I’m Not DVC?

Yes! Anyone can book a room at Saratoga Springs Resort. Availability is limited for this Deluxe resort, but you do not have to be a DVC member to book a room here.

Resort Rooms:

Saratoga Springs have 5 different room types. They have the Deluxe Studio, 1 bedroom Villa, 2 Bedroom Villa, 3 Bedroom Grand Villa and the Treehouse Villa.

What Amenities Come In The Rooms?

The Studio has a smaller amenity list then the villas do. The main difference are these amenities:

  • A Kitchenette
  • Microwave
  • Mini Refrigerator
  • Paper dishes and plastic utensils
  • Regular bathroom with no Whirlpool Tub

All the Villas have these amenities, and besides the differences above the Studios also have most of the amenities below as well:

1 Bedroom Villa:

1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Pull-Down Bed and 1 Twin-Size Pull-Down Bed. Sleeps up to 5 Adults.

Views of Garden, Lake, Pool, Woodlands or Fairway.

Standard – Views of Garden, Lake, Pool, Woodlands or Fairways

Preferred – Views of Garden, Courtyard, Woodlands or Water
Close to Disney Springs or to The Carriage House and Dining

2 Bedroom Villa:

1 King Bed and 2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Pull Down Bed and 1 Twin-Size Pull-Down Bed. Sleeps up to 9 Adults.

Standard – Views of Garden, Lake, Pool, Woodlands or Fairways 

Preferred – Views of Garden, Courtyard, Woodlands or Water
Close to Disney Springs or to The Carriage House and Dining

3-Bedroom Grand Villa:

1 King Bed and 4 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Pull Down Bed. Sleeps up to 12 Adults.

Standard – Views of Garden, Lake, Pool, Woodlands or Fairways

Preferred – Views of Garden, Courtyard, Woodlands or Water
Close to Disney Springs or to The Carriage House and Dining

Treehouse Villa:

2 Queen Beds and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa and 1 Bunk Bed and 1 Twin-Size Sleeper Chair. Sleeps up to 9 Adults.

Check In and Hospitality House:

Check-in: 4pm / Check-out: 11am

Saratoga Springs Carriage House for check-in.

The Hospitality House is nice and open. The check-in/check-out desk and concierge desk are located here as well. Express checkout is available here also.

The Hospitality House has a hallway that goes directly to Artist Palette, the quick service food spot at Saratoga Springs. The merchandise store is located there as well. Just passed Artist’s Palette is The Turf Club and Grill.

Transportation:

Bus: Outside of the Hospitality House is the Transportation Depot. You can catch a bus to all the Parks, Disney Springs, and Water Parks.

This is also where you can get the buses to the airport and for a Disney Cruise.

Ferry: Take a complimentary water taxi over to Disney Springs. The ferry runs from 10am until 11pm, with the last ferry coming back from Disney Springs at 11:30pm.

Minnie Van: You can rent a Minnie Van for an extra cost through Lyft.

Saratoga Springs is also walking distance to Disney Springs from some rooms.

Dining:

Saratoga Springs has one main sit down restaurant and 3 counter or quick service dining options, and 3 lounges. Some of these are located by pools, which make for a great pool day!

Table Service: 

The Turf Club Bar and Grill – the only table service restaurant at this resort and you will need a reservation to eat here. The Turf Club is only open for dinner. It’s classic American cuisine and most meals range from $15 to $34.99 per adult.

Quick Service:

The Artist’s Palette is the main quick service area where you can get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Artist’s Palette is grab and go style but does offer indoor seating.

They offer a hot breakfast and for lunch or dinner you can grab sandwiches, salads, and pizza. Your price range will be around $14.99 and under per adult

You can also grab grocery style items at The Artist’s Palette like frozen pizzas, frozen meals, yogurts, milk, beers and wine all to take back to your room.

The Paddock Grill – open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner you can grab a meal for the average price of  $14.99 and under per adult. 

This grill is located in the Paddock pool area and the perfect place to grab a simple breakfast, salad, burger, and even shrimp tacos at lunch and dinner.

Backstretch Pool Bar – located in the Grandstand pool area the Backstretch Pool Bar offers Saratoga Specialties like buffalo chicken nachos. Along with some classic like cheese pizza and Mickey pretzel with Cheese.

Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Café – located at the Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course you can stop here to grab some light bites during your game.

They offer a large variety of deli style sandwiches and snacks.

Bar Service:

The Turf Club Lounge – if you can’t get a reservation at The Turf Club Grill you can stop into the lounge for a limited menu and lots of drink offerings.

On the Rocks Pool Bar – located inside the High Rock Spring pool you will find On the Rocks Pool Bar which offers a large variety of drinks and cocktails.

Shopping:

Grab your classic souvenirs, resort exclusive souvenirs, and Disney treats right next to The Artist’s Palette you will find a great little shop to find it all.

Resort Activities:

Bonfire – Each night from 6:30-7:30pm weather permitting. This activity is marshmallows and roasting sticks are complimentary but you can purchase a pack of crackers and chocolate inside the community hall.

Community Hall – Inside the community hall you can find more information on special events and daily activities.

In the hall you can to play or check out equipment for things like foosball, video games, ping-pong, shuffleboard, tennis, basketball, and volleyball.

You can also create crafts. Some are paid and some are complimentary. You can also sign out DVDs to enjoy in your room.

It’s a great spot for a raining day or a great place to hang out with the kids while you wait for check-in.

Movies Under the Stars -complimentary outdoor movie located right outside the sandcastle pool. Movies will show at 8:30 on Sundays, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Check your hall for posted movie titles.

Arcade – located right outside of the community hall you will find an arcade full of fun games and the entire family to enjoy.

Surrey Bike Rentals –  choose from a 2 or 4 person Surrey bike to ride around and check out the beautiful resort. This activity does coast extra and prices are posted at the rental spots.

Around the resort property you will also find tennis, baseball court, jogging trails, and playgrounds.

Resort Pools:

Enjoy 5 different pools located all around this resort property.

High Rock Spring Pool – This pool offers a zero-depth entry and a pool slide built into the rocks.

You will also find two relaxing whirlpool spas in this pool area.

The High Rock Spring Pool also features the Donald Duck play area and splash pad.

The Paddock Pool – This pool also offers a zero-depth entry point along with a 146-foot-long waterslide.

You will also find spots for your little ones in the aquatic play area with pint-sized waterslides.

Leisure Pools

You will find three different leisure pools around property for your entry family. Located in the Treehouse Villas, Congress Park, and The Grandstand.

You will find a smaller pool at these locations and can find find playgrounds and grilling areas at both congress park, and the grandstand.

Other Amenities:

Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services:  24-hour self-service Landry room. If you are interested in dry cleaning you can drop off items at Bell Services prior to 9:00 AM.

Parking: Overnight self-parking is available to guest but will have a fee. Parking fees range from $25-$33 dollars per night and will be in your initial bill.

ATM are 24-hours and located near the front desk at the Hospitality house.

Each room does come with complimentary Wi-Fi Internet.

Jogging Trails are located around the resort as well.
