Disney’s Old Key West Resort 2 Bedroom Villa is a Disney Deluxe Villa with amenities just like at home. Villas have a full kitchen, washer, dryer and separate bedrooms.

Disney’s Old Key West Resort Room Review: 2 Bedroom Villa

Disney’s Old Key West Resort has 4 room options – a deluxe studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and a 3-bedroom Grand Villa. This is also a Disney Vacation Club Resort.

The Hospitality House received a renovation in 2021. All Villas received a hard goods refurbishment in 2019.

Today we will review and share about the 2 Bedroom Villa. These rooms can sleep up to 9 adults. There are 2 main floor plans for the 2 bedroom villas.

One is a standard 2 Bedroom Villa with a Master Bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 queen beds in it.

The Lock-off 2 Bedroom Villa is a 1-bedroom Villa with a studio bedroom attached to it. There is 1 Master Bedroom with a king bed. The additional second bedroom has 2 queen beds in it and the living room has the queen sleeper couch and the twin sleeper chair. It is basically 2 adjoining rooms. In a Lock-off Villa the 2nd bedroom, or studio room, does have an exit to the main hallway.

What comes in a 2 Bedroom Villa?

Living Room and Kitchen:

The 2 Bedroom Villas at Old Key West Resort sleeps 9 people. Disney refers to anyone older than 3 years old as a person in the room. So, a family that has a young child younger than 3 will “not count” towards to room limit.

The living room at a 2 Bedroom Villa has an open living room and dining room area. The living room will have a queen size sofa bed, and a twin size sleeper chair. You can see both in the picture below.

The living rooms are bright and open thanks to lots of windows. A large Smart TV is located in the island in front of the couches.

The living room and dining room areas are almost identical in a 1 Bedroom Villa and a 2 Bedroom Villa.

The dining room has a small 4 chair dining room table. This is great for starting the day off with eating breakfast before heading to the parks.

2 Bedroom Villas Kitchen:

The kitchen in the Villas is a huge benefit to staying in a Villa. The full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove and microwave is great!

With plenty of shopping nearby or being able to do an Amazon Fresh order and have it delivered to your resort can allow you to get groceries for your stay.

Stock the refrigerator up with bottled water and other drinks. Keep snacks for the kids, or late-night snacks for the parents when the kids go to sleep.

Master Bedroom with King Bed:

The 2 Bedroom Villa has a Master Bedroom with a King Bed in it. There are 2 nightstands and a dresser to make your stay feel more at home.

Most rooms have a ceiling fan in them. There is a large Smart Tv on the wall in front of the bed.

The Villas Master Bathroom:

The Master Bathroom connects directly to the master bedroom. The bathroom has 2 rooms in it. One is a room with a Whirlpool Jet tub and vanity area.

The second part of the bathroom is the shower room. This room also connects to the main area.

It is a shared bathroom area for the whole Villa.

The Whirlpool tub in the Villas is one of our favorite parts of staying in the Villa. It is great to relax and soak in after a long day at the parks.

The Laundry Room in the Villa:

Almost all of the 1- and 2-Bedroom Villas at Old Key West Resort come with their own laundry room.

A washer and dryer is in the laundry room, along with some other cleaning and household supplies like a laundry basket and iron with ironing board.

Disney will typically supply a small bottle of laundry detergent as well.

Some of the floor plans of the Villas will have the laundry be in the connecting hallway from the Master Bathroom Shower Room to the main area of the rest of the Villa.

The Villa Patio and View:

All Villas come with a Patio or Balcony. The patios and balconies connect via doors to the Master Bedroom and the Main Living Room area.

The patio is a super nice and shaded spot to sit and relax. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book on the patio. Enjoy views around the resort that may include a pond/lake, the golf course or just a nicely landscaped area.
