Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is Tomorrowland’s Toy Story 2 inspired Space Ranger laser shooter. Become a Junior Space Ranger as you ride across space trying to stop Emperor Zurg.

Buzz Lightyear’s Ranger Spin is like a classic arcade target shooting game, but built into a ride. Climb aboard a XP-37 Star Cruiser and fight Emperor Zurg with Buzz Lightyear.

The ride vehicle spins in 360 degrees, as you use your laser to hit “Zurg” targets marked with a Z. Can you get the high score of 999,999?

Location:

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is located in Tomorrowland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. It is right next to Monster’s Inc Laugh Factory.

It is open from park open until park close. It can be closed due to inclement weather.

Astro Orbiter – Astro Orbiter is the planetary spinning ride high in the sky of Tomorrowland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Ride a 2-person rocket ship through space.

Cool Ship – Cool Ship is the space themed refreshment stand located in Tomorrowland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Enjoy snacks, ice creams, and drinks at this cool food stand.

Tomorrowland Speedway – Tomorrowland Speedway is a classic driving experience ride that is super popular. Hop in a hot rod and follow the track around the speedway racing other cars along the way. 

Lightning Lane:

Lightning Lane is available for purchase on this ride through Disney’s Genie+. You can purchase it on the Disney My Experience App.

This ride is insanely popular and has an average wait time of 45 minutes. Using the Lightning Lane would be highly recommended for this attraction.

Height And Age:

All ages can ride this ride. There is no height requirement.

Handicapped Accessibility:

The ride is handicap accessible. Riders must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle. The DAS pass is available to use on this ride as well.

Wheelchairs and other assistance vehicles can be ridden to almost the ride start. The rider will have to walk on a moving platform, that can be slowed down or even stopped if needed to get on the ride.

Need a challenge at Magic Kingdom, the ride Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. Challenge your family and friends to see who can get the top score! You control the spinning on this ride with the joystick. Can you find the high value targets? Can you become the Galactic Hero?

We love this ride. It’s a ton of fun, and very fast paced. Shooting the targets is a great challenge to have with the kids to get the high score. We highly recommend this ride.
