Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is one of the best rollercoasters in Disney World. Take a ride on a train through an abandoned mine. Speed though the haunted mine across rickety tracks and escaping from boulders and dynamite. Look out for goats on the tracks!

It’s a really fast ride and does go through some dark areas. There is a height limit on this ride, but it is a rollercoaster our boys enjoyed as young as they could get on it.

Ride Review:

This really is one of the best rollercoasters at Disney World. They don’t call it the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness for nothing! We love this rollercoaster, and it’s a never miss for us. It’s one of the faster rides at Magic Kingdom, besides Space Mountain. It’s fast, and a ton of fun. Our kids love this, and it may be their favorite ride at Magic Kingdom. It does have a long wait, but it’s worth it.
