Disney’s Old Key West Resort 1 Bedroom Villa is a Disney Deluxe Villa with amenities just like at home. Villas have a full kitchen, washer, dryer and a separate Master Bedroom.

Disney’s Old Key West Resort Room Review: 1 Bedroom Villa

Disney’s Old Key West Resort has 4 room options – a deluxe studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and a 3-bedroom Grand Villa. This is also a Disney Vacation Club Resort.

The Hospitality House received a renovation in 2021. All Villas received a hard goods refurbishment in 2019.

Today we will review and share about the 1 Bedroom Villa. These rooms can sleep up to 5 adults.

What comes in a 1 Bedroom Villa?

These are some of the amenities that come with your 1 Bedroom Villa.

Living Room and Kitchen:

The 1 Bedroom Villas at Old Key West Resort sleeps 5 people. Disney refers to anyone older than 3 years old as a person in the room. So, a family that has a young child younger than 3 will “not count” towards to room limit.

The living room at a 1 Bedroom Villa has an open living room and dining room area. The living room will have a queen size sofa bed, and a twin size sleeper chair. You can see both in the picture below.

The living rooms are bright with a lot of windows. The ceiling fan helps keep the room cool on the hot summer Florida days.

Relax on the comfortable couches after a long day at the park.

The dining room is perfect for starting the day off with breakfast. We usually cook the kids a breakfast, make cereal and pack lunches for the parks as well.

The full refrigerator is great for anyone staying there. It is a major benefit to staying in a villa.

Having a stove and microwave is also awesome. The cupboards are loaded with dishes as well, to use during your stay.

Master Bedroom with King Bed:

The 1 Bedroom Villa has a Master Bedroom with a King Bed in it. There are 2 nightstands and a dresser to make your stay feel more at home.

Most rooms have a ceiling fan in them. There is a large Smart Tv on the wall in front of the bed.

The Villas Master Bathroom:

The Master Bathroom connects directly to the master bedroom. The bathroom has 2 rooms in it. One is a room with a Whirlpool Jet tub and vanity area.

The Whirlpool tub is very large and great for relaxing after a long day at the parks.

The second room in the Master Bathroom is the shared shower room, toilet and vanity. Yes, this is the only toilet in the whole villa. So, every does share this. That is why it is separate from room with the Whirlpool tub.

The Laundry Room in the Villa:

Almost all of the 1- and 2-Bedroom Villas at Old Key West Resort come with their own laundry room.

A washer and dryer is in the laundry room, along with some other cleaning and household supplies like a laundry basket and iron with ironing board.

Disney will typically supply a small bottle of laundry detergent as well.

The Villa Patio and View:

The patio is a super nice and shaded spot to sit and relax. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book on the patio. Enjoy views around the resort that may include a pond/lake, the golf course or just a nicely landscaped area.
