Tomorrowland Speedway is a classic driving experience ride that is super popular. Hop in a hot rod and follow the track around the speedway racing other cars along the way. 

Tomorrowland Speedway is a classic auto ride. Ride around the track taking in the sights of Magic Kingdom and Tomorrowland.

Best thing is, your kids can be the driver!

Location:

The Tomorrowland Speedway is located in Tomorrowland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Tomorrowland Speedway is the first ride you will see when entering Tomorrowland from Fantasyland.

It is open from park open until park close. It can be closed due to inclement weather.

Other Tomorrowland Attractions and Food Are:

Astro Orbiter – Astro Orbiter is the planetary spinning ride high in the sky of Tomorrowland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Ride a 2-person rocket ship through space.

Cool Ship – Cool Ship is the space themed refreshment stand located in Tomorrowland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Enjoy snacks, ice creams, and drinks at this cool food stand.

Lightning Lane:

Lightning Lane is available for purchase on this ride through Disney’s Genie+. You can purchase it on the Disney My Experience App.

This ride can get pretty long and has an average wait time of around 30 minutes. Lightning Lane could be a useful option for this ride.

Height And Age:

Racers must be at least 32 inches to ride this ride. As long as they reach the heigh requirement your child can ride and drive a car (you may have to push the gas for them). Anyone over 54 inches in height can drive a racecar by themselves.

Handicapped Accessibility:

This ride is handicap accessible, but riders must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle. DAS is available for this ride as well. Wheelchairs and ECVs can be taken to the ride entrance.

Ride Review:

This has been our oldest son’s favorite ride since he was able to ride it. We never miss it. It can be stop and go if the little kids driving are not that great at driving. It’s kind of a longer ride too, and if you let the kids drive it can be relaxing for you as the parent.
