Adventure Outpost Animal Kingdom is where you get to meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. They are looking awesome in their safari outfits.

How to Meet Mickey and Minnie in Animal Kingdom:

You can meet Globetrotting Mickey and Minnie in Adventures Outpost in Animal Kingdom located in Discovery Island.

You can find this spot just right of the Tree of Life before you arrive in Asia and directly across from the exit of It’s Tough to be a Bug.

Mickey and Minnie meet together in Adventure Outpost. A lot of other character meet and greets the characters are separated and you meet the characters one by one.

They are dressed in safari outfits ready to go on an adventure. Mickey and Minnie will also sign autographs.

There is no in person photographer, but they do have a photo box that will take pictures. Cast members are in there as well that will take a picture with your phone if asked.

Do I need Lighting Lane to Meet Mickey and Minnie?

It is available for this meet and greet. The average wait time 30-55 mins. During the very busy season this time could go up and we find that after lunch is when the time goes down the most, when people head back to the room to rest. This would be a great option in AK because there are not many rides here. I would not buy lightning lane just for this since you can get most everything done in a day here. The real bonus is that the entire wait it typically in the air conditioning, but when very busy the end of the line can be pushed to the outside.

Handicap Accessible:

This meet and greet is handicap accessible. You can remain in the chair during the entire que and when meeting Mickey and Minnie. You can also use the Disability Access Service Pass here.
