Festival of the Lion King is a celebration of the story of the Lion King hosted by Simba, Timon and Pumba along with a variety of performers. Experience this celebration of the Lion King in this amazing stage show in Africa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The Festival of the Lion King is Animal Kingdom’s amazing stage show celebrating the wonder and beauty of the Lion King. Sing along with amazing performers and singers to your favorite Lion King songs.
Location:
You will find the show at the Harambe Theater. It is on the outskirts of Africa in Animal Kingdom.
If you were to head towards Pandora from Africa you would walk by the theater. It is closest to Tusker House restaurant.
Show Times:
Make sure to check the My Disney Experience app for show times on the day you visit.
Typically the shows run on the hour every hour. The show lasts for about 40 minutes.
Performers are dressed as animals of the African Safari, and they fill the auditorium with dancing and singing. Stilt walkers dance with ease throughout the show as well.
The main singers will put on amazing renditions of your favorite Lion King songs you can sing along with or just sit back and enjoy.
The 4 corners of the auditorium feature large animatronics of a giraffe and elephant along with Pumba and Simba. Timon is a costumed performer in the show as well.
Simba talks to us and dances along with the songs.
