Some of the best experiences you can have at Disney World are the character dining experiences. Whether at a resort or in a Disney Park there are a lot of fun character meal options to choose from.

This is a comprehensive list of all the Character Dining options available. And in no particular order, well alphabetical order, here are the Character Dining Experiences in Walt Disney World.

1900 Park Fare

1900 Park Fare is located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It is only open for breakfast and dinner. It is a buffet breakfast and dinner. You will meet Mirabel, Cinderella, Princess Tiana (in her adventure outfit), and Aladdin.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Akershus is located in Epcot at the Norway Pavillion. Dine in a medieval castle with Disney Princesses joining you and visiting your table. You can meet a lot of different princesses, and who attends the meal does vary. Princesses that do attend Akershus are Ariel, Princess Tiana, Cinderella, Princess Jasmine, Mulan, Princess Aurora, Snow White, and Belle.

This is a family style dining option. The meal is served in a large skillet for the table to share.

Cape May Cafe

Cape May Cafe is a character breakfast buffet. Located in Disney’s Beach Club Resort is the Cape May Cafe Breakfast Buffet. It is hosted by Minnie and her friends Daisy, Donald and Goofy as they are ready for a Beach Party!

Breakfast is the only character dining option available here, but Cape May Cafe is open for a dinner buffet, but with no characters.

Chef Mickey’s

Chef Mickey’s is one of the most popular restaurants in Disney World. It is hard to get a reservation for because it is so popular. This is a dining experience like no other in our opinion. It is probably our favorite character dining experience in all of Disney.

It is located in the Contemporary Resort. It is a buffet that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You will meet Chef Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto.

Cinderella’s Royal Table

Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the most unique dining experiences at Magic Kingdom. You get to eat inside Cinderella’s Castle!

Disney Princesses will join you as you dine inside the castle to a Prix Fixe menu. Princesses that do attend are Ariel, Princess Tiana, Cinderella, Princess Jasmine, Mulan, Princess Aurora, Snow White, and Belle. Not all of them will come during the entire meal.

It is also the most expensive character dining in Walt Disney World, and it is not an All-You-Care-To-Eat menu or a buffet.

The Crystal Palace

The Crystal Palace Breakfast is located at the end of Main Street USA in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. The restaurant is a Victorian themed Greenhouse that features your favorite Winnie the Pooh characters: Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger.

This is a buffet meal. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy dining for Winnie the Pooh’s Friendship Day Celebration.

Garden Grill

Garden Grill is located in The Land section of Epcot, which is before you get into the World Showcase. Dine in a rotating dining room above Living with the Land at Epcot’s Garden Grill. Chip and Dale’s Harvest Feast is the theme for this Family-style lunch or dinner.

You will be hosted by Chip and Dale. Farmer Mickey and Pluto will also visit you.

Hollywood and Vine

Hollywood Studios has a great character dining experience at Hollywood and Vine with two different character experiences during the day. Breakfast features Disney Junior Characters and lunch and dinner is Minnie’s Seasonal Dining.

This is a buffet style meal.

Ohana Character Breakfast

Ohana Breakfast is the Polynesian Resort’s Character Breakfast. Featuring an all your care to enjoy breakfast platter and your favorite Disney characters like Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch.

This is also one of our favorite restaurants in Disney World.

Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White

Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is Wilderness Lodge’s Character Dining restaurant. Themed after Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, you will dine in the Enchanted Forest while meeting Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy! Beware because the Evil Queen is also in the Enchanted Forest!

This is also a Prix Fixe menu, and it is more expensive than other character dining. It is also probably one of the hardest to get a reservation for.

Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera

Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast at Disney’s Riveria Resort is the beautiful rooftop restaurant that features Breakfast a la Art with Mickey and Friends character dining. 

Topolino’s Terrace is a beautiful open dining room inspired by French and Italian themes. It is only open for the Breakfast a la Art with Mickey and Friends from 7:30am to 12:15pm.

Tusker House

Tusker House is located in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It is open from breakfast until dinner. All meals feature African dishes. Donald Duck hosts this along with Daisy, Mickey and Goofy. They are dressed ready for a safari adventure.

Character Dining Pricing:

One thing about Disney is you will pay a premium for the experience. Character Dining are some of the most expensive dining options on Disney property. The food at these character dining experiences are usually a preset menu or buffet family-style dining. Typically, people review the food as good, but not the best as other non-character dining menus. That goes back to what we said about paying the premium. Always remember when you are making the Character Dining reservations you are also paying for the experience of meeting and interacting with Disney characters.
