Topolino’s Terrace is a beautiful open dining room inspired by French and Italian themes. It is only open for the Breakfast a la Art with Mickey and Friends from 7:30am to 12:15pm, and then for dinner from 5:00 to 9:30pm. We have only eaten during the character breakfast, and let us tell you it was a ton of fun!

Atmosphere:

The breakfast is a ton of fun. The music is like a breakfast party. Our favorite characters are ready to paint and show off their dance skills!

Character Meet and Greets:

There is nothing more exciting than meeting Disney Characters. The character dining experiences are one of the best ways to interact with the characters. The character dining interactions are some of the more personal interactions you can have with Disney characters. Hugging, talking and taking photos are all typically allowed.

Characters are only at Breakfast time. So if you go to dinner you will not get to meet your favorite Disney characters. You get to meet Donald, Daisy, Minnie and Mickey here.

Mickey is dressed in his painter’s gear, and he is ready to show off his artwork! Each character will come to your table to a short meet and greet. They will also come out and do a dance number around the dining room as well.

Breakfast Entrees:

All entrees are the same price of $45.00 per choice. The entrees are very good but remember that with character dining you are also paying for the experience of meeting the characters.

Kids Breakfast Menu:

Kids have a set breakfast menu that costs $29.00 per choice. It comes with one entree choice and 2 side choices.

The kids get to add two of these side selections to their main entree to round out the breakfast.

Our Picks:

We enjoyed breakfast here without the kids. So we did not get to try any of the kids entrees but we did enjoy some of the main entrees.

Chad got a typical breakfast plate with the Two Eggs Any Way plate. He got scrambled eggs, bacon and roasted potatoes. Even though it is a normal breakfast plate he really enjoyed it.

Jennie had the Quiche Gruyere. It was amazing even the salad. Yes, this comes with a salad for breakfast. She thinks that this is one of the top 5 breakfast she has had at Disney.

Breakfast Drinks:

You can get your normal breakfast drinks here from juice to even soda. There are some good coffee options as well. Joffrey’s Coffee has a special roast just for the Riveria too, the Press Pot Riveria Resort Blend.

There are also some breakfast cocktails you can enjoy as well. They have three breakfast cocktails without alcohol you can enjoy.

The Topolino’s Terrace is a beautiful rooftop restaurant. The views of the resort and across the Disney area are great. There is a patio you can go to outside the restaurant to enjoy the view and take pictures.

Character Dining Pricing:

One thing about Disney is you will pay a premium for the experience. Character Dining are some of the most expensive dining options on Disney property. The food at these character dining experiences are usually a preset menu or buffet family-style dining. Typically, people review the food as good, but not the best as other non-character dining menus. That goes back to what we said about paying the premium. Always remember when you are making the Character Dining reservations you are also paying for the experience of meeting and interacting with Disney characters.

Topolino’s Terrace Final Review:

We loved Topolino’s Terrace. The character breakfast is a ton of fun and a great way to meet your favorite Disney characters. The Riveria is a beautiful resort, and this restaurant is no exception. The food is tasty and worth the price for the experience you get. We highly recommend this restaurant for the Character Breakfast. Now we got to go back for dinner!
