It’s a Small World is the iconic water ride at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. It is so iconic; you probably are singing the song in your head reading this!
It’s a Small World is one of the most famous rides in all the world. It is an opening day attraction to Disney’s Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.
It is a slow, boat ride through many different countries. The famous song is song all along the ride in different languages of the countries you visit. The ride is a little longer than 10 minutes.

Location:
The ride is located in the heart of Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. It is open from park open until park close.
Height Requirements:
All ages can ride this ride. There is no height requirement.
Disney Photopass:
The ride is not equipped with a Photopass picture.
Lighting Lane:
Lightning Lane is available for this ride and can be purchased via the My Disney Experience App with Genie+.
This line is typically 30 minutes long on an average day. During peak times like Spring Break it could be 60 minutes or longer.
Handicapped Accessibility:
The ride is handicap accessible. The DAS pass is available to use on this ride as well.
Wheelchairs and other assistance vehicles can be ridden to almost the ride start. They usually send those on wheelchairs down the exit ramp to load in for this ride.
The ride will allow those in wheelchairs to transfer to the ride, or there are special boats that will allow the wheelchair to load on to the boat and be locked down for the ride. So any rider, even ones that cannot get out and transfer can ride this ride.
Ride Review:
This ride is a Disney classic. It is well known across the world, along with it’s world famous song. The ride is slow moving and there is a lot to see on all sides of your while riding. We highly recommend you ride this ride at least once! Yes, don’t worry, the song will get stuck in your head!
All ages can ride, so it’s great for the whole family. Even babies can ride it sitting in an adult’s lap.
