Location:
All-Star Sports is located in the Animal Kingdom Resort area. It is right next to All-Star Music and All-Star Movies.
What kind of rooms are at All-Star Sports?
All Star Sports has 1920 standard rooms. Yes, all the rooms are standard. Some of the rooms have been refurbished but all rooms are set up essentially the same. The rooms have 2 double beds in them. The refurbished rooms have a Queen Bed and a Queen Pull-Down Murphy Bed.
There are Standard and Preferred Rooms. They all have views of the Courtyard, Pool and Parking Lot. Preferred Rooms are rooms that are closer to Stadium Hall, dining, and transportation.

The Resort Areas:
There are 5 main resort areas and themed locations at All Star Sports. Each of the resort themed areas have two buildings per theme.
The themes again are Football, Baseball, Basketball, Surfing and Tennis. The Main Surfboard Pool is located near the main lobby and the Surfing rooms. The Baseball area is the only other area that has a pool.

The Football area features a football encased staircase. And the Basketball area has Cheer Cones for the staircases. The front facade of the rooms has basketballs being shot into hoops on the front of the Basketball rooms.

All the resort areas have excellent theming, and you get to see some of your favorite characters playing sports. The Tennis area features Donald’s favorite nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie playing Baseball… on the Tennis Courts.

This is a great photo opportunity at the resort. The turf is also great for letting the kids run around and spend some energy.

Enjoy the surf area with some lounge chairs as it is also near the pool. The stairs are inside the lifeguard towers.

The Baseball area has the only other pool on property. A huge scoreboard is over the entrance to the where the elevators are located. Pennants of different MLB teams are on the top of the buildings.

Standard Refurbished Room Tour:
We have stayed here a few times over the years. Our last stay was in a refurbished room.
We had a queen-sized bed and a queen-sized Murphy Pull Down bed as well.

There is a small kitchenette area that has a coffee maker and a mini fridge.
Both beds have Mickey and Friends artwork behind them. The one behind the pull-down bed can only be seen when the bed is down.

The bathroom has a separate sink/vanity area from the shower and toilet area. The bathroom only has a standup shower and no tub.

The Food at All-Star Sports:
All-Star Sports has 1 main eating area. The main building is called Stadium Hall.
Grandstand Spirits:
This is the pool bar that you can access from outside the main pool area and also from inside the Stadium Hall.
This bar features a variety of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. The All-Star Resorts all typically have a specialty cocktail that you can get in a souvenir glass.

End Zone Food Court:
This is the main eating area at All-Star Sports. It is a cafeteria style dining area that features a variety of made to order food, entrees and grab and go.
There’s a bakery, grill, pizza, and Italian options available. There are plenty of kids options too.

The dining area is huge here. with 1900+ rooms at this resort the dining area can be filled and pretty crowded. At your main dining times breakfast, lunch and dinner the place is packed. Also, it is very packed at the end of the park nights when everyone is returning from the parks.

Shopping at All-Star Sports:
All resorts on Disney property have a store for shopping. In the store you can get all your favorite Disney Parks merchandise, along with resort specific merchandise. Sometimes the resort specific merchandise is some of the coolest merchandise you can find, in our opinion.

Sport Goofy Gifts and Sundries have a lot of options for merchandise. The Disney specialty event items should be there, which currently is Disney 100 celebration.

You can get Disney Sports related items here along with some ESPN items too. In the back is the grab and go section for some drinks and food items. There are also toiletries and other things you may need for your stay.
The Pools at All-Star Sports:
All-Star Sports features two pools. The Main Pool is the Pool with Surfboard Motif. It is near Stadium Hall and right by the Surfing rooms. There is also a kiddie pool here for the little ones.
The only downfall of this pool is it really lacks in Disney theming. Most of the pools have some kind of Disney theming but not this one.

Grand Slam Pool is located over in the Baseball Area of the resort. It is a circular pool that does feature Goofy in his baseball uniform shooting water at swimming guests.

The Arcade at All-Star Sports:
The arcade at All-Star Sports is a huge room full of games for anyone to play on their vacation. There are a variety of video games, air hockey, skill games and even a photo booth!
There are also daily tournaments and things that cast members hold at the arcade.

Other activities at All-Star Sports:
All Star Sports has a lot of family friendly activities throughout the day and night.
One of the fun things we have done is the Smores night. Cast members will light up the fire pit and you can purchase Smores packs to make Smores in the evenings.

There is also Movies at Night on a blowup projector screen. They also do movies at the pool. There are a variety of fun games at the pool, a giant chess board, and other fun things. Check with the front desk for a full list of everything that you can do at the resort.
