Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Copper Creek Villas feature a 2 Bedroom Villa that sleeps up to 8 people with the extra standard room that has 2 queen beds in it. Also, all your expected Villa amenities are there too!
Wilderness Lodge has two main resort buildings in the Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas. Both resorts feature Deluxe Studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas. 3-bedroom Grand Villas are only available on the Copper Creek side.
There are some differences in the 2-Bedroom Villas between the two buildings. The biggest differences are in the 2-Bedroom at Copper Creek you have a bigger bathroom area than in Boulder Ridge. You can also have a lake view room at Copper Creek from a Villa, but not at Boulder Ridge.
Copper Creek is newer and also has a newer more modern feel than Boulder Ridge. It is a Deluxe resort that has a “base camp” theme.
2 Bedroom Villa at Copper Creek Review:
Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge shares all Resort amenities—including pools, dining and recreation—with the other sections of the Resort: Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Boulder Ridge Villas.
The following room types are available at Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge:
- Deluxe Studios with a kitchenette
- Cabins and Villas featuring a kitchen, private bedrooms, and a washer and dryer.
Cabin and villa room types let you make the most of your vacation:
- A fully-equipped kitchen lets you prepare meals and snacks from the comfort of your private accommodations.
- Separate bedrooms in our cabins and 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom villas offer space, privacy and tranquility—so it’s easy to rest, relax and recharge your spirit after each exhilarating vacation day.
- A washer and dryer let you pack lightly and ensure you’ll always have fresh, clean clothes.
In addition, cabins feature a double-sided fireplace, a porch with a built-in hot tub and views of Bay Lake. Three-bedroom Grand Villas offer a private porch or balcony.
Views of Pool, Bay Lake, Woodlands, Courtyard, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge or Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

The 2 Bedroom Villa Review:
When you walk in the entrance to the Villa you have a foyer area where a closet and laundry area can be found. There is also a really cute coat rack and show rack area as well.
One of the best perks of the villas is the laundry room. Being able to do your own laundry on a trip is great for coming home and NOT having to do it.
There is a closet area in the foyer that has the ironing board and safe. Extra linens for the pullout bed are usually in here as well.
The Kitchen and Living Room of the Copper Creek Villa:
The kitchen is mainly on one side of the wall/hallway into the living room. There is a nice pantry area as well on one end of the kithcen.
Having the full kitchen with all the utensils and tools as at home, is a great perk to staying in a Villa. You can cook meals or prepare breakfast to help save money at Disney.
The Dining Room has a large table that sits about 6 people with a bench and 3 dining room chairs. The living room features an entertainment stand with drawers, a large tv, and access to the balcony. The couch in the Villa is a queen-size sleeper couch. Extra linens are usually about the laundry area or in one of the closets.
The refrigerator is hidden in the wall behind the dining room table directly across from the stove. It is a full-size refrigerator so you can bring all you need!
2 Bedroom Villa Spare Room and Bathroom:
The 2 Bedroom Villas at Copper Creek are a 1 Bedroom Villa and a standard room that are linked together. The Standard room has a full and large bathroom with 2 queen beds in the room.
The extra bedroom sleeps up to 4 more people and has a dresser for clothes and small seating area as well. Access to the balcony is in this room too.
The spare bathroom is HUGE! Honestly, I love this bathroom more than the Master/Main Bathroom. It has two large vanities on each of the room. There is also a large walk-in closet!
The bathroom has a separate room with the toilet and walk-in shower.
The Master Bedroom at Copper Creek:
The Master Bedroom features a King Bed, access to a balcony, large Smart TV, and a dresser and armoire. The hardwood floors and simplistic theme gives this a more contemporary look than the Boulder Ridge Villas.
The Master Bedroom of the Villa has a nice view of the woodlands. It is a smaller master bedroom than some of the other villas we have been in, but it is very nice.
The Bathroom in the 2 Bedroom Villa:
It is a Master Bathroom style in that it does connect to the Master Bedroom. The whirlpool tub has a beautiful painted glass picture giving privacy from the bedroom. The room with the tub also has a large vanity.
A separate room in the bathroom has the toilet, sink and walk-in shower.
The Balcony at the Villa:
The balcony at the villas is narrow but has a nice sitting area. You can come out here and look around the resort, enjoy morning coffee or have a late-night drink. The balcony does connect from the Master Bedroom, Living Room and second bedroom if in a 2-bedroom villa.
