The 1 Bedroom Villa at Boulder Ridge Villas built in 2000 for Disney’s Vacation Club. Refurbished in 2016 these villas sleep 4 guests and have all the amenities you would expect in a Villa.
Wilderness Lodge has two main resort buildings in the Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas. Both resorts feature Deluxe Studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas. 3-bedroom Grand Villas are only available on the Copper Creek side.
There are some differences in the 1-Bedroom Villas between the two buildings. The biggest differences are in the 1-Bedroom at Copper Creek you have a bigger bathroom area than in Boulder Ridge. You can also have a lake view room at Copper Creek from a Villa, but not at Boulder Ridge.
1 Bedroom Villa at Boulder Ridge Review:
Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge shares all Resort amenities—including pools, dining and recreation—with the other sections of the Resort: Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Copper Creek Villas and Cabins.
The following room types are available at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge:
- Deluxe Studios with a kitchenette.
- Villas featuring a kitchen, private bedrooms, and a washer and dryer.

- Separate bedrooms in our 1- and 2-bedroom villas offer space, privacy and tranquility—so it’s easy to rest, relax and recharge your spirit after each exhilarating vacation day.

1 King Bed and 1 Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa which sleeps up to 4 adults.

Living Room Area in a 1-Bedroom Villa:
The Living Room area in this 1 Bedroom villa has a couch that pulls out to a queen sleeper bed. A small dining room table, and a large tv. It is not as big and spacious as some of the other 1-bedroom villas we have stayed in.
The cozy, rustic mountain theme is seen throughout the room with the Bambi throw pillows and other paintings and pictures up.
The 1-Bedroom Kitchen:
The full kitchen is great. This is smaller than some of the other Villas we have stayed in, but it still has everything you need. From the full refrigerator to the stove and all the dishes and utensils you need, the full kitchen is one of the best amenities you can have at a Disney resort.
The cupboards and cabinets will have all the utensils and dishes for cooking and eating. The dishwasher also makes for easy cleanup!
Bathroom and Other Amenities of a 1 Bedroom Villa:
The 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom Villas all have their own laundry area. This is also another amazing added amenity of staying in a Disney Villa. You can wash laundry before you head home and don’t have a ton of laundry to do when you get home.
One of the big differences in the Boulder Ridge from the Copper Creek 1-bedroom Villas are the bathroom. They are a tad smaller even after the refurbishment.
There is not a large vanity like in some other villas. The sink, toilet and shower are in the same room.
The walk-in shower is nice and tiled to match the rustic theme.
The King bedroom has a dresser, Smart TV, and nightstands. One of the best things about these Villa rooms are the ceiling fan. They are a great addition to your room after a hot day at the parks.
As with almost all the Villas, the whirlpool tub is a great amenity to the villas. It is a great way to relax after a long day at the parks.
The Villa Balcony And View:
With views of the woodlands, the balconies are very peaceful.
The balcony is a great place to sit and enjoy morning coffee or a late-night drink. All balconies have at least two chairs and a small table. Some of the bigger balconies will have 4 chairs and a table as well.
