Believe it or not, years ago when we decided to take our first family vacation to Disney, Yak & Yeti was the first restaurant we ate at. It was before the Blog and Youtube Channel were started. Our first trip where we had no plans and winged it all.

So, Yak & Yeti holds a special place in our Disney loving hearts. The menu is just as good as it was when we first went over 10 years ago. The Asian inspired dishes are big and filling.

The restaurant is a two-story dining hall that also has a quick service option located outside on the side of the building. Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe is a good place to grab food similar to what they serve at the main restaurant.

Atmosphere:

Whether you are preparing for the hike or just finished scaling Expedition Everest a good meal may be necessary. This restaurant shares the look and feel of a Nepal village. Enjoy a dinner that is fit for a trek up the mountain.

The Menu:

The Asian dishes are tasty and full of flavor. From the Bang Bang Calamari to Pot Stickers and Egg Rolls the side dishes along are awesome!

Final Review:

It has been a while since we have eaten here. We ate here our first ever trip to Disney and a few times on trips after that. We really enjoyed eating here and the atmosphere is great. The theming of hiking the Himalayas and preparing for a trip up Everest is really unique. To be completely honest we have eaten at Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafe more often lately than the actual restaurant. It does feel a little crowded in the restaurant though.
