Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe is located at the start of the path to Expedition Everest in Asia in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It features Asian inspired fare from the teriyaki beef bowl to fried rice and egg rolls.

Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe is a quick service food stand adjacent to Yak & Yeti Restaurant. If you are heading into Asia from Discovery Island you will walk right up to Yak & Yeti as you cross the bridge and head towards Expedition Everest.

It features some of the same entrees you can get from Yak & Yeti. It is open from 9:ooam until 7:00pm. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner from here.

Breakfast Menu:

The breakfast menu offers some filling breakfast options to start the day. Grab a breakfast bowl or sandwich before hitting the rides.

You can also get some breakfast sides here. The Yogurt Parfait is perfect for the kids along with the fruit salad.

 

There are also some kids options for breakfast as well. You can get a sausage wrapped in pancake or French Toast.

You can get some juice and coffee here too.

 

Lunch and Dinner Menu:

This food stand has quite a few options to choose from. The menu features a variety of Asian dishes. From the Honey Sesame Chicken to the Rib Tips to the Sweet-and-Sour Tempura Shrimp there is something everyone will enjoy here.

The Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe also features one of the favorite items from Yak & Yeti Restaurant. The Kobe Beef burger that is one of the most popular items at the main restaurant is also available here. It is a little different that what you would get in the restaurant, but still just as good.

The Kobe Cheeseburger comes out plain with the toppings like lettuce, tomato, and pickles on the side. It is served with fries.

The egg rolls and chicken fried rice are excellent side choices.

The dessert menu is limited to two parfaits and a frozen lemonade cup.

The kids menu has a cheeseburger, chicken strips, and a PB&J Uncrustable available for the kids.

This food stand offers a variety of Coke products, milk, and chocolate milk. You can get a soda in a souvenir Panda cup as well.

There are three alcoholic beverages available here as well. Two beers and a sangria can be purchased here.
