atmosphere:

The atmosphere here is fun but usually very busy. It’s always been packed the times we have been there. The food is really good, and there is a nice variety. Even the kids enjoyed the food there. Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy are really fun dressed ready for a safari adventure.

Themed like an African Market, the buffet area is very open and there is a large dining area. It is really fun, and the characters are awesome.

Character Dining Pricing:

One thing about Disney is you will pay a premium for the experience. Character Dining are some of the most expensive dining options on Disney property. The food at these character dining experiences are usually a preset menu or buffet family-style dining. Typically, people review the food as good, but not the best as other non-character dining menus. That goes back to what we said about paying the premium. Always remember when you are making the Character Dining reservations you are also paying for the experience of meeting and interacting with Disney characters.

Tusker House Final Review:

Overall, this is a highly popular character dinner. We highly recommend getting a reservation at 60 days out if you want to eat here. There are some really good food options at Animal Kingdom, but if you want to be able to meet these four characters this is a perfect place to do it.

The food is good, atmosphere is fun, and the characters and cast members make it a great experience. Depending on your Animal Kingdom Day Plans it may be tough to fit in a sit-down character meal, but if you follow our Animal Kingdom Itinerary, you could squeeze it in!
