Tambu Lounge is the Tiki lounge located at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Get tropical drinks and Hawaiian-inspired appetizers from this tiki bar.

Tambu Lounge is the little Tiki bar located in Disney’s Polynesian Resort right next to Ohana! It is a smaller bar but has some great drinks and appetizers. Tambu Lounge is open all day from 8:30am until 11pm, but you can only get the appetizers from 4-10pm.

Atmosphere:

The Tambu Lounge is located really close to Ohana. You can definitely hear the music and sounds of Ohana at the Tambu Lounge. There is seating around the whole bar and some seating to the side near windows. It is a well trafficked area due to Ohana and the bathrooms being close by.

The Menu:

The menu is limited to only four appetizers and they are available only from 4 to 10pm. The drink menu is available all day from open until close.

One thing to mention is there is a “secret menu” here. You can get some items from Ohana and some of the specialty drinks from Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. They are not on the standard menu, but you can definitely ask about them, and see if any are available.

There are some non-alcoholic beverages available that can be bought for anyone of all ages.

The Tambu Lounge does feature a small bar, but not a full bar. You can get some standard mixed drinks or shots if you would like. It also features the same specialty cocktails available at almost all the other Disney lounges and bars.

Enjoy a seat around the bar and have a drink before going to the parks or when you return.

The beer menu is the same that is featured across Disney properties.

There are also some beers that has been sourced from Hawaiian or inspired from Hawaii. These can be found at the other Polynesian restaurants as well.

Final Review:

Tambu Lounge is a great place for a drink. There may not be much food available here, but what is available is good. If you can get some items from the “secret menu” with food from Ohana or drinks from Trade Sam’s that is a great addition to this lounge. Most people get drinks and go sit somewhere else around the lobby. It is usually pretty open to get something from.
