DINOSAUR at Animal Kingdom is a dark ride where you travel back in time to rescue a dinosaur before a meteor strikes the earth. Race against time, back in time on this wild adventure with twists, turns, and dinosaurs!

DINOSAUR is a thrilling ride that take out back in time to the Cretaceous period trying to save the last Iguanodon. Brave the meteor shower in your Time Rover as you travel though this ride.

You will find the largest audio-animatronics creatures Disney has ever made here on this ride.

Throughout this ride your car will dodge meteors and ferocious Dinos.

This ride is 3 1/2 mins long. When entering this ride, you will walk throughout the Dino Institute and see a full T-rex fossil.

Location:

In Animal Kingdom’s Dinoland USA. It is located in the back of Dinoland.

Lighting Lane:

Yes, this ride has one and has the longest line in Dinoland. The line is typically 45-90 mins.

Handicapped Accessibility:

This ride is Handicapped Accessible. The line does have steps, but an elevator is available for those traveling in a wheelchair. You will need to transfer into the car.

The pre-show also has closed captions for this who are hearing impaired.

Ride Warning:

This is a dark, scary, loud, and wild ride. With dinosaurs jumping at the car as you try to escape. While you can ride this at 40 inches, some of our kids who are big enough still don’t like this ride. If you have kids, I suggest watching a video of the ride online so you can know if this is something that would scare your child.

It can be classified as “scary” to some little ones.
