Deluxe Studio is the base room at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Boulder Ridge section of the resort. Built in 2000 these were the first villas built for Disney’s Vacation Club at Wilderness Lodge.

Wilderness Lodge has two main resort buildings in the Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas. Both resorts feature Deluxe Studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas. 3-bedroom Grand Villas are only available on the Copper Creek side.

There are some differences in the Deluxe Studios between the two buildings. The main difference is the Deluxe Studio at Boulder Ridge sleeps 5 guests, whereas the Deluxe Studio at Copper Creek only sleeps 4 guests.

Deluxe Studio at Boulder Ridge Villas Review:

The Deluxe Studio at Boulder Ridge is one of the first DVC resorts we ever stayed at. These were refurbished in 2014 and had a Murphey Bed added to them to sleep the 5th guest. Each studio features a Queen Bed, Double Bed pull out couch, and the single Murphey pulldown bed. You can have mostly forest views and views of the pool or lodge.

The theme is a rustic mountain feel. Being off the main lodge it is a bit quieter, with a quiet zero-entry pool. It is also closer to the Disney transportation hub for the bus rides to the parks.

The pulldown bed is below the tv. You have to pull down the attached table in order to use it.

The Kitchenette Area in a Deluxe Studio:

The kitchenette area is small but efficient for the space of a studio. With a small refrigerator, microwave and toaster you can prepare breakfast or reheat some leftovers from a dinner there. We typically use this for breakfast every morning before heading to the parks. It is perfect for cereal, oatmeal or even toasted bagels!
