The Barefoot Pool Bar at Disney’s Polynesian Resort is located near the beautiful Lava Pool. Enjoy a drink or bite to eat with views of the volcano towering over the pool.
The Barefoot Pool Bar is located right in the volcano that the Lava pool sits under at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. It is open from 11am until 10pm most days. It may close down during bad weather if the pool is closed. Sometimes servers will be walking around the pool as well taking orders. You can eat a lunch or even dinner there with the variety of options available. There are plenty of drinks everyone can enjoy as well.
The Bar’s Atmosphere:
The Polynesian Resort celebrates South Pacific culture and that is even seen at the Lava Pool. The Pool Bar is like a Tiki Bar on a beach. It is outside and there are lounge chairs all around that you can sit and relax at with you drinks. There is also a small dining area with tables and chairs to sit and eat at as well.
The Menu:
The menu at Barefoot Pool Bar has appetizers, entrees and a large variety of drinks. It is a full bar along with their specialty cocktails.

There are four main entrees to choose from. The fish tacos and cheeseburger are the popular options.
The bar also has Malasadas which are Portuguese Doughnuts served with fruit.
Kids Menu:
The kids have some great options available as well. So enjoy the pool day knowing your kids can have a good meal while there.
The Barefoot Pool Bar is the best place to hang out at when at the Lava Pool. Plenty of lounge chairs to relax and enjoy something to eat or drink.
Pool Bar Drink Menus:
There are some specialty non-alcoholic drinks available. The smoothies are our kids’ favorites.
The Specialty Cocktails are perfect beach and tropical favorites. Enjoy a Mai Tai or Margarita or the Big Island Iced Tea.
There is also the Seven Seas Salted Caramel specialty cocktail for the coffee lovers out there.
The Beer selection is the same as almost all other Disney Bars.
The Wine and Sangria menu is limited but they do have some island wines you could try.
Barefoot Pool Bar Final Review:
The Barefoot Pool Bar is usually pretty busy. Because the pool is always busy, there can sometimes be a small wait for your food orders. The drinks do come out pretty quickly. The food menu is limited and closes at 8pm. It is a great place to get a drink at the pool though.
