It is open from the park open until closing. It is a replica dig site kids will love playing and exploring in. There is an extensive system of ramps, rope bridges and slides the kids can play on. The ground is a padded walkway to resemble walking on rocks and boulders.

There is also a dig site where kids can dig in rocks to search and excavate fossils and dinosaur bones.

The scaffolding around the dig site allows kids to get a high vantage point of all the fossils and area to explore. With slides to get down, the scaffolding is big enough for even parents to go on an adventure with their kids.

There are also a couple of smaller slides perfect for toddlers to play and climb on.

Behind the wall of fossils is a small cave system that can be explored as well.

This is a perfect place for the kids the play and parents to relax. There is only one entrance and exit, so you can relax as your little ones explore the Boneyard Dig Site. Be aware that there is not much shade and with the heat having water or other drinks available for the kids is a great idea. We like to use this area as a snack time for the kids.
