How to get to Grand Floridian Cafe:
To get to the cafe, you need to get to Grand Floridian Resort. You have to have a reservation to dine here, so driving or taking an Uber, would require the front gate to check your reservation to be able to get on to the resort. You can take a bus from any park to the resort as well. One fun way we take to get to the resort is to go to Magic Kingdom and then ride the monorail over to the resort.
The Menu at Grand Floridian Cafe:
Some of the featured items are the Eggs Benedict or the Lobster ‘Thermidor’ Burger for the “Blunch” menu. The dinner menu features the Sirloin Steak, Buttermilk-Fried Chicken, and the Miso-Glazed Salmon.

Grand Floridian Cafe’s Cancellation Policy:
If you can’t make your reservation, make sure to call and cancel at least 2 hours prior to your reservation time. If you fail to do this, you can be changed a $10 fee per person.
This is a major and recent change to Disney’s Dining Cancellation Policy. Prior to this change you had to cancel your reservations 24 hours in advance in order to avoid the fee.
- Cancellation Advice: If you miss the 2-hour window still try calling the Dining reservation number to talk to them. Disney may be able to still help you out with the cancellation and possibly avoid the fee depending on the reasoning.
Walk-Up Reservations:
If you can’t make a reservation, you may be able to get on the list for a walk-up reservation. I would suggest to first check the app or give them a call.
If you are close to the restaurant, the app usually will tell the walk-up wait time, or if they are even taking walk-ups, are this time.
Grand Floridian Cafe Final Review:
Grand Floridian Cafe is a great place to eat. We’ve done breakfast and dinner there. We love to make a reservation on our Magic Kingdom days. It’s a ton of fun to take the monorail over there for the meal then head back to Magic Kingdom. The dining room is a tad crowded there, and it is always packed. The atmosphere is really nice and the theming is pretty. The food is the best part. Great items and good size portions make it worth the price and value.
