Disney’s Beach Club Resort features Cape May Cafe a New England inspired buffet that serves breakfast and dinner. The surf and turf dinner buffet is awesome and a must try on any Disney vacation!

Cape May Cafe is Disney’s Beach Club Resort breakfast and dinner location. The theme is reminiscent of the capes of New England with light and airy colors and a very open and spacious dining room.

This restaurant features Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast where you can dine with Minnie and her friends over a great breakfast buffet. Cape May Cafe is closed for lunch and reopens for dinner. The dinner is called Seafood and More Dinner Buffet. It is a surf and turf buffet that features everything from shrimp, oysters, chicken and steak!

Pricing at Cape May Cafe:

With this being a buffet, the pricing is set for children and adults. Drinks like soda, juice and tea are included in the price. Specialty drinks and alcohol are priced separately.

Dinner Buffet Offerings and Menu:

This dinner menu does have a variety of surf-n-turf options with a more surf than turf. Honestly, if you are not a seafood fan your choices may be a bit limited.

We enjoyed our dinner here, but the buffet was smaller with fewer options compared to other Disney buffet style restaurants we have eaten at.

This section can be enjoyed by anyone but it’s perfect for kids who don’t want seafood and enjoy the classics. Here is what you can usually find in the kids’ friendly section of the buffet:

Pizza

Chicken Nuggets

Mac and Cheese

Pasta and Marine Sauce

Beverages:

You can find your classic fountain drinks here as well as, non-alcoholic specialty drinks, and a large variety of beers, hard ciders, hard seltzer’s, wines, and cocktails.

Cape May Cafe’s Cancellation Policy:

If you can’t make your reservation, make sure to call and cancel at least 2 hours prior to your reservation time. If you fail to do this, you can be changed a $10 fee per person.

This is a major and recent change to Disney’s Dining Cancellation Policy. Prior to this change you had to cancel your reservations 24 hours in advance in order to avoid the fee.

• Cancellation Advice: If you miss the 2-hour window still try calling the Dining reservation number to talk to them. Disney may be able to still help you out with the cancellation and possibly avoid the fee depending on the reasoning.

Walk-Up Reservations:

If you can’t make a reservation, you may be able to get on the list for a walk-up reservation. I would suggest to first check the app or give them a call.

If you are close to the restaurant, the app usually will tell the walk-up wait time, or if they are even taking walk-ups, are this time.

Cape May Cafe Dinner Final Review:

Cape May Cafe Dinner Buffet is pretty good. It would be really great for seafood fans. We are not the biggest seafood eaters in our house, so for us it was a different experience. We did try almost everything on the buffet to say that we did. There were some really good options for non-seafood loving eaters, but not a big variety. The dining room is huge, and the cast members are great. The buffet overall is a tad smaller, which is why we felt the seafood options were more plentiful than the turf options.
