Located in Adventureland at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. You start at a little shack called The Crow’s Nest at the end of Adventureland right near the start of Frontierland.

How to Play:

Enter The Crow’s Nest and talk to the Cast Member there to get started. You will need to scan your Magic Band or Park Ticket to be able to play. The screen will tell you which map to start with, then follow the map and clues to solve the riddles. Every time you finish a map, go back to The Crow’s Nest and get the next map.

Every location is listed on the map, and you need to scan your band or ticket on the correct symbol. If you scan the correct symbol the location will interact in some way. Sometimes it’s music, sound or someone talking. Or like in the picture below, a cannon shot.

The last location will tell you when you have completed the map, and to return to The Crow’s Nest and get the next map. You can keep going and finish all maps or just do one or a few for some fun.

If you choose to return at a later time or continue on a different day, the Pirate Adventure will continue your progress from where you left off. Just make sure you sue the same Magic Band or park ticket every time you play.

How Long to Finish:

So, each map takes about 10-15 minutes to complete. You do have to walk all over Adventureland and sometimes back track throughout the land. If there are a lot of people playing it could take longer if you have to wait at certain locations. Make sure even if you are waiting and see a locations message or interaction you still complete it on your Magic Band.

Overall Review:

We took one afternoon and did the entire treasure hunt. The kids loved it, and it was honestly a ton of fun, and a really great yet different way to spend time at Magic Kingdom. It reminded us of the Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom card game that used to be here. We will have a vlog posted for it on our YouTube channel soon, and we’ll update this post when it is live.
