Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen is the Jungle Cruise inspired restaurant located in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. Ride the Jungle Cruise and then experience some World Famous Jungle Cuisine!

Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen is one of the most fun restaurants at Magic Kingdom. Dining here is just as fun and entertaining as riding the Jungle Cruise.

The cast members working here are hilarious and do a great job of keeping the livelihood and fun of the Jungle Cruise alive in the restaurant. It honestly reminds us of dining at Whispering Canyon with how interactive the cast members are.

The dining room is full of memorabilia and artifacts that many of the Jungle Cruise Skippers have acquired in their travels.
The Skippers even have rooms in the Canteen for them.

The Menu:
The food here is a variety of dishes inspired by areas traveled on the Jungle Cruise.
Enjoy cuisine inspired from Africa, Asia and Latin America. The food is even named after some of the jokes and locations found along the Jungle Cruise.
Please note: Menu Items are up to date as of the date of this post. The menu and specials and prices are subject to change.

The appetizers are simple items like the Jungle Green Salad or the Lost and Found Soup. Enjoy some Spicy Chili-Garlic Shrimp over Pork Fried Rice as well.
The Entrees:
The entrees here have plenty of options from steak, fish, chicken, pork, lamb and even vegetarian plant-based options. Everyone can enjoy something from this menu as there is something for every pallet on here.

One of our favorite items is the “Tastes Like Chicken” Because It Is! This is a Fried Chicken with a sweet chili glaze served with stir-fried vegetables and Jasmine rice.

Chad has also come to love the “Hardy Har Char” Siu Pork. This is a Char-Siu marinated pork served with seasonal vegetables and Jasmine rice.

Kids’ Meals at Skipper Canteen:
There are two appetizers available for the kids which are the Safari Snack and the Serengeti Salad.
The Kids’ Create-Your-Own Entree meal is where you will choose and entree for the child along with two side items. It also comes with a drink. Our kids like the Junior Skip’s Macaroni and Cheese and the Chef Tandaji’s Crispy Chicken.
These are the side choices for the kids meals. You can choose two of these to go along with the kids’ meal.
Our kids enjoyed the Mac and cheese, fruit, and Volcano! Cake.

Dessert Menu:
There are three desserts on the menu at Skipper Canteen that are exclusive to this restaurant. We have tried all three and they are excellent!
Beverage Menu:
Enjoy your favorite Coca-Cola Products along with Powerade and VitaminWater options. You can get coffee, espresso and hot teas. The Enchanted Orange Dream is Orange Dole Whip mixed with Vanilla Soft-serve to make a smoother/milkshake. It is excellent!
There are some specialty cocktails available here that are exclusive to Skipper Canteen.
The beer menu features the Kungaloosh Spiced Excursion Ale that is brewed exclusively for Skipper Canteen.
The win menu has a variety of Africa and Latin American inspired wines.
Allergy-Friendly:
A variety of allergy-friendly items are available. You can always talk to a chef when you arrive to make sure your food meets your allergy needs.

Cast Interactions:
We have had some of the best cast interactions eating here. The Cast Members are hilarious and fully interact with you during the meal. Our servers will joke with us, pick on us, and do other fun things. Don’t drink too much or you may get a whole gallon of soda or tea!
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen Final Review:
We really enjoy eating here. The atmosphere and theme are so fun, and the cast members really make it a memorable dining experience. The food is good and unique, and the pricing is good for dining inside the Magic Kingdom. You do need a reservation for this restaurant, but walk-ins are sometimes available. We do recommend trying this restaurant.

Food – 6, the food was good but nothing we are dying to go back for. The menu is also much smaller than other places.
Dining Area – 8
Service – 10, we have loved our cast member that waited on us each time we had dinner here. They always stay in character and have lots of cheesy skipper jokes to share.
Overall Rating – 7
