Satu’li Canteen is the quick service restaurant located in Pandora – The World of Avatar. It features a menu inspired by food from Avatar, and is decorated like a RDA mess hall.

Satu’li Canteen is the huge RDA designed dining hall in Pandora. The food and flavors of Avatar come alive at this quick-service restaurant. Located in the back corner of Pandora in Animal Kingdom it is very popular and the food is excellent!

Satu’li Canteen Menu:

The menu features items from the abundance of Pandora’s bounty. From grains to veggies and some amazing proteins you can get a healthy and tasty meal from this mess hall owned and operated by Ace Centauri Expeditions (ACE). The bowls feature beef, chicken, tuna or shrimp and are super filling. The Cheeseburger Bao Buns are a favorite of our kids.

The bowls all feature a choice of protein, base and sauce.

We have tried all the bowls here and they are all amazing! Chad got the Beef and Chicken Combination bowl on our last visit!

There is also a Crispy Tofu Bowl for a plant-based bowl option.

The bowls fall under the Disney Check Meals for the kids. They have the options of picking the base and sauce as well.

The kids can get the Cheeseburger Bao Bun, a Hot Dog Wrapped in Dough, and a cheese quesadilla. These kids meals below all come with a choice of drink, chips and Cuties Mandarin oranges.

What are the bases at Satu’li Canteen?

So the bowls at Satu’li Canteen feature your choice of a base. Once you decide on the protein you would like you have to choose your base and your sauce. These bases are the filler of your bowl. There are 4 bases available or you can choose not to have a base. The four bases for the bowls are Red and Sweet Potato Hash, Noodles, Rice and Beans, or a Hearty Salad. The beef and chicken combination bowl pictured above has the Red and Sweet Potato Hash. The Chicken Bowl picture right below has the rice and beans base.

What are the sauces at Satu’li Canteen?

Along with your choice of base, you also can choose your favorite sauce to go with your bowl. There are three sauces available to choose from. Charred Green Onion Vinaigrette, Black Bean Vinaigrette, and Creamy Herb Sauce. Both pictures have the Creamy Herb Sauce.

Beverages:

There are some specialty drinks you can order at the counter, but you can also get a regular drink and fill them at the soda fountain or tea station. The Pandoran Sunrise is a fruit juice blended with Powerade. The kids loved this.

One of the nicer things about Satu’li Canteen is the drink station. Not every quick service option at Disney has a drink station, and at the ones that do not have a refill station, you normally do not get refills at the counter either.

There are also a variety of alcoholic beverages available as well. You can get some cocktails and drinks inspired by Avatar, and there are some local/domestic options available as well.

Final Review:

We absolutely love Satu’li Canteen. We always plan our Animal Kingdom day around being in Pandora for lunch or dinner. The food is high quality and a good quantity. You will be filled up with some great food. We love the bowls and the kids love the Cheeseburger Bao Bun and the Kids Quesadilla. We highly recommend Satu’li Canteen and believe you will love it just as much as we do.
